As you carefully read this article you will find that it goes to the very heart of mature Time Management.

It covers things that absolutely anyone can do and takes no time at all to learn because you can already do it easily.

Can you think of anyone around you that needs this?

But before I reveal to you the most overlooked and most vital recommendation for time management, consider this..

There are three categories for Time Management.

Below are three excellent and highly recommended techniques for time management that I use all the time.

And if you pay close attention you will understand why techniques for ALL three ‘ranges’ of time are vital for an optimized approach to time management.

TECHNIQUE 1: Short-range Time Management: Daily 10-Minute On-track Review

The 10-Minute On-track Time Management Review is one of my favorite daily techniques.

In just 10 minutes we can jot down most of the things floating around in our mind and take a strong grip on them by seeing them written down.

At times we get off track, whether practically, or with our efficiency, or emotionally. When that happens I usually realize I have not done a 10 minute ‘how is it going’ self-review, so I do it then and things seem so much clearer and in my grasp.

Whenever you feel overwhelmed, try it, just jot down those buzzing thoughts, and you’ll immediately feel in far more control.

And if you already know this; if this already seems terribly simple to you..

..then I beg you this question:

How consistent are you at doing it as part of your regular Time Management operations? If you do it regularly, then that’s awesome.

But I wonder if you have got the 2nd Time Management technique in place too?

TECHNIQUE 2: For Long-range Time Management: Weekend Review

Take an hour or so every single weekend to review the past week and plan for the coming week.

I confess, I myself find this difficult to stick to, yet it’s so so so important for total Time Management.

Don’t let your brain trick you into missing this. It can be extremely hard work to think of all the messy details of how things are going and attempting to put it all in order. But don’t let your brain get away with chickening out.

“Brain, for the next hour, it’s you and me bucko!”

The Weekend Review is much like the 10-Minute Review, but the Weekend Review should include ‘everything’ in your life.

If you’ve never done this before, then it’ll be a bumpy roller coaster the first time you do it.

Have you got the guts? Have you got the foresight that it is well worth doing?

Dedicate an entire afternoon (maybe it will take a day), perhaps with a friend, to individually do a ‘mind-dump’ of everything important and significant in your life.

This will help your time management drastically because it will push your mind to be aware of projects, responsibilities, and desires that you could, should, are, or want to ultimately be doing.

And you can’t apply yourself to the very best possible time management if you are not staying optimally mindful of things, right?

Write down all the big important things in your life, present, and desired, and at the weekend check how things are going in relation to your Time Management ‘Master List’ that you update and review at the weekends.

So now we need to fill the gap between the short term 10 minute time management and the long-term big life vision time management.

TECHNIQUE 3: For Medium-range Time Management: Current Project List

Key Principle: Time Management works via taking future envisioned results, identifying their steps of achievement, scheduling them, and then acting on what is scheduled.

So technique 3 is this:

Maintain an active list of all your current projects.

This should be a list of every single active project or responsibility you have got going in your life.

It will include repeated responsibilities you have got such as the weekly shopping spree, because writing those things down will push you to fit them efficiently into your time management schedule.

You can’t have optimum time management unless you include everything you need to have time management for, right?

To conclude: There are 3 ranges of our life thus we require 3 core techniques of time management.

Always remember those three requirements.

Oh, and I promised to reveal the most overlooked yet greatest time management secret.

It’s implied in the above 3 techniques and it is this:

Write things down, don’t just let things revolve around your head.

“Don’t just think it, Ink it!”

This is the number one priority I want my clients to learn from me for their Time Management success.

Do you know the following fact established by Brian Tracy?

Writing down the things we want to do, have, and become, moves us to the top 3% of the population in terms of life success.

So fancy being among the elite of men and women?

Take pen to paper regularly and get things committed to clear precise orderliness on paper (or computer).

That really is the overlooked secret to all of Time Management.

Currently touring Thailand whilst writing and coaching, Nathan Shaw has a 15 page Time Management Missing Principles Handbook available free.

The gun is the chosen weapon of modern times. Technologically advanced and deadly accurate, the weapon does its job. Despite its effectiveness, the gun lacks the mystique that accompanies a Japanese sword, or any sword of ancient tradition for that matter. Individual works of art, the swords of Japan have a rich and enduring history.

What makes Japanese swords so alluring? Perhaps it’s their rich history, or maybe it’s the incredible craftsmanship and artistic touches that went into many a sword. Even still, it could be that these swords were often considered an extension of the people who wielded them. More than just an object, they were a constant and unyielding companion in a world very different from our own. It’s that symbolism, perhaps, that makes these swords so interesting.

The history of the Japanese sword is rich and long. It is believed the first swords came on the scene in the in the mid 200s A.D. Using rough iron, as steel had yet to be invented yet, the forerunner of the swords of today was a rough prototype, subject to breaking.

The advent of steel, which involves a process of heating and cooling iron to create a superior product, came to Japan sometime in the 5th century. With this came a single-edged blade known as the chokuto. This creation of steel, with its deadly beauty and ability, opened the door for artisans to begin creating better and better swords.

Early swords were made of iron, but the lesser-processed material was brittle. In Europe, for example, swords made of bog iron were extremely brittle and often would break on the field of battle after a blow or two. The advantage of the steel sword was the fact it was more flexible. Its elasticity was slight, but just enough to prove the worked metal stronger, and more reliable. It just got better through time and advanced processing, too.

It is believed the straight sword was the norm through the 8th century or so, when tachi, or long, curved swords made their appearance. It wasn’t until the late 1200s, however, that sword making had evolved into the form more closely representative of the Japanese samurai sword we identify with today. As the samurai became the power in Japan, the swords became greater, more detailed, individual works of art.

In the late 1300 and 1400s, the katana with its shorter, easier to wield blade came into favor and crafting abilities advanced as well. By the late 1500s, refining processes became more advanced and raw materials were more accessible and the tradition of making swords marched forward.

As it was in Europe with medieval knights, the birth of the Japanese sword grew up around a class of warriors, the samurai. This country’s version of a knight, a samurai, however, is more of a mystery to the West, making the weapons these men wielded more intriguing perhaps. The samurai were known as relentless warriors who lived and died by a code of honor. Their weapons were extensions of themselves.

The Japanese sword had many forms through the ages. As crafting processes became more complex, the end product was noted for its durability and beauty combined.

Lingerie in the broadest sense of the term has come a long way from the boned corsets worn by the women of early Crete and the whalebone corsets worn in the 18th century when women had to undergo painful transformations of tightening laces and pulling the corsets tight to make their waistlines appear smaller. In those days women were wearing the undergarments to attract men and to display what was thought to be the appealing form of the day.

Today’s lingerie is designed more for the woman in that it is made to be comfortable in addition to being sexy. This has resulted in a boom for the lingerie industry while the overall clothing industry has actually seen a decline. We see sexy lingerie showing up everywhere even in department stores previously seen as conservative.

Let’s take a look at the basic types of lingerie available today.

First we have practical lingerie which is bought for everyday use and also possible to send the signal that this isn’t your lucky night! This includes everything from everyday garments for work to just plain standard nighttime sleepwear. Sometimes you just want something plain for lounging around in and lingerie doesn’t always have to be babydolls and teddy’s.

Secondly we have the category of sexy lingerie. Some women who buy this type of lingerie do so to feel sexy throughout the day having the knowledge that they are hiding something provocative under their everyday clothing. This also can give a woman a sense of power and confidence knowing that if her male co-worker had any idea what she had on underneath it would drive him insane.

Finally, we have my favorite, naughty lingerie! This is the kind of lingerie that is designed to seduce and entrance. While usually worn for special occasions it can be exciting to wear nightly if you have several different items to make it stay interesting and fun. This the type of lingerie most purchased by men, I wonder why!

Have fun with shopping for lingerie and don’t be afraid to take a walk on the wild side. If you want to get some good ideas on what is hot go to a classy club that has exotic dancers and take note of what they are wearing. These women make a good living and usually are wearing the latest lingerie fashions.

Neutrality, banking, yodeling, mountains and cheese and chocolate. The Swiss are known for a lot of things. But when it comes to functionality, perhaps the most notable item to come out of this Alpine country is the Swiss Army knife. For more than 100 years, this tool has been synonymous with multitasking quality.

The famous knife of the Swiss Army came on the market in the late 1890s. It was and remains an impressive representation of ingenuity and design. By combining a number of functional tools into a single device, Carl Elsener created a tool that would make history and stand the test of time.

Elsener’s company, Victorinox, was initially created to help stave off emigration out of his part of Switzerland. Industrialization was not strong in the central region of the country and employment was spotty. Inasmuch, many people had to leave to find gainful employment. By creating the knife and his company, Elsener set into motion an industry that would more than 100 years later still be providing work for Swiss residents.

The company that manufacturers the knife today and ships it to more 100 countries worldwide now employs about 1,000 people. The knife itself has taken on many forms through the years and, in fact, now comes in more models than a person could shake a stick at.

Originally, the Victorinox knife included about six different tools. Now, the knife actually comes in more than 100 different models with all sorts of tool options. These can range from knifes, of course, to screw drivers, bottle openers, small hammers and more.

The company is still home based in Ibach, Switzerland, and boasts an impressive track record. It creates, on average, about 34,000 knifes a day in its 100-plus versions. The pocket tool numbers fall in at about 43,000 a day in 300 different variations. Their popularity remains so strong due to the “bang for the buck” the pocket knifes offer. Rather than having to carry multiple tools around, a single purchase can serve a lot of purposes.

The pinch-hitters of the tool world, many a Victorinox knife has been used for fixing everything from cars and computers to small appliances and more. Walking around with a screw driver isn’t practical, but a pocket knife is more than doable.

A legendary success, the knives made by the Victorinox company are loved the world over for their usefulness, functionality and durability. The Swiss creation is known as one that will stand the test of time and come in handy when it’s needed.

The knives are popular among construction workers, campers, survivalists and every day people for the number of things they can do. A simple knife dropped in a pocket or purse can come in handy for more little projects than one can imagine. In fact, these knives have been taken on historic expeditions in space, to the North Pole, Mount Everest and beyond.

The Swiss Army Knife was created originally to provide solid manufacturing jobs in a region that was hurting for industry. Today, more than 100 years after their creation, the knifes remain a popular must-have for the well-prepared.

Since the first appearance of lingerie thousands of years ago on the Mediterranean island of Crete where women wore corsets made from bone designed to enhance and expose their breasts lingerie has gone through many changes. What is thought of as sexy and appealing has gone through many transformations over the years.

Going from the pagan women mentioned above who wore very revealing items to entice and seduce men where the theme of the day was to exaggerate and expose a woman’s body we move to the Middle Ages when the fashion of the day was to flatten the breasts and make them appear smaller and firmer which was the desired look of that time.

In the time of the Renaissance, we saw a return to showing off and exaggerating the female form with women wearing corsets that made the breasts look conical similar to the lingerie we have seen Madonna wear in concerts and music videos while accentuating smaller waistlines.

Up to the 18th century women started dressing a little lighter but still kept wearing tight whalebone corsets which had been despised by health experts due to the fact that they thought the devices were dangerous, which they were and for a short time these were outlawed. The mid 1800’s saw the addition of the bustle which of course made the bottom look bigger coupled with the reemergence of the corset to make the waist look smaller.

In the 1920’s with parties and flapper dresses all the rage women with thin, flat, and almost boyish figures were considered desirable so now women wore undergarments designed to slim the body and flatten the breasts with corsets now being shortened and primarily used to hold up stockings.

In the 30’s and 40’s the large breast look was in again and out came padded bras to enhance and lift the breasts to give the desired look. Indeed even the reclusive millionaire Howard Hughes invented a bra with a wire support made especially for the Actress Jane Russell.

The lingerie industry suffered a big hit in the 1960’s with all the bra burning and the feminist movement when many women started going braless as a form of protest. But at the same time lycra had been invented and the min skirt introduced which brought about the need for skimpy bikini underwear.

In today’s society the adoration of the female body is back in full bloom and one need only see the success of Victoria’s Secret to know that it shows no signs of abating for awhile.
