Almost every female celebrity has had her name associated with a certain diet at one point or another. However no matter how much you trust and admire a celebrity they don’t always recommend good dietary advice.

Remember Oprah Winfrey pushing the Cabbage Soup Diet about a decade or so on her television. This diet alternated eating one certain food all day with drinking a high sodium broth made from cabbages, V8 juices and Lipton’s onion soup mix. One day you would eat nothing bananas, another day nothing but soup and another day nothing but meat. The problem with this diet is that it was basically a calorie deprivation diet that many people found hard to stick to. It was also a diet that was extremely high in sodium. Oprah later retracted her faith in this diet, but this is a good example of “When Good Celebrities Diet Wrong.”

Unfortunately, many celebrities do not really realize the impact that their blithe comments have on their faithful followers, especially when it comes to diets. Here are some examples of celebrity diets that may or may not work depending on the condition of your health, your budget and whether or not you have a private chef.

Drew Barrymore – Drew Barrymore advocates engaging in at least one fun but strenuous activity a day such as crazy golf, swimming or playing a team sport. This is combined with three meals a day, staying away from cola and eating sugar free Jell-O. She also stays away from eating meat as much as she can. This is a very sensible plan but it will not create a stick thin figure. Drew Barrymore is one of those curvy celebrities who is not caving in to Hollywood peer pressure to be less than curvaceous.

Heidi Klum – Supermodel Heidi Klum stunned the world by losing thirty pounds one month after giving birth to her baby. She did this by embarking on a calorie restricted diet that allowed her no more than 1700 calories a day which most doctors would consider to be too low for a nursing mom. However it might be just right for an average adult who is not nursing!

Gwyneth Paltrow – Actress Gwyneth Paltrow is a follower of the Zen Macrobiotic diet that bans dairy, caffeine, alcohol, meat, fish and eggs. Whatever you eat that is left over must be organic. This can be an expensive or inexpensive diet depending on whether or not you go for the organic option. Also most foods on this diet are served raw which means buying plenty of fresh produce, which can get expensive. It is very difficult to cook anything tasty on this kind of diet. As it is mostly vegetables, nuts and seeds it can lead to severe calorie restriction as well. Staying on this diet for more than a week is very challenging for most people who usually give into cravings. Furthermore the lack of proteins, vitamin B12 and fats in this diet can lead to mental and emotional disturbances.

Claudia Schiffer – Supermodel Claudia Shiffer sticks to eating three meals a day, but they must be totally organic. This is probably the best of the celebrity diets around as it is built on the common sense prescription of “three square meals a day.” However eating organic can double the expense of your grocery bill which is not economical for many.

Rene Zellweiger – Rene Zelleweiger keeps her figure by sticking to the Zone Diet. This diet which involves food combining is not that practical for ordering out in restaurants. Furthermore strategizing your meals takes a lot of planning, grocery shopping and making special meals. This is just not that practical for today’s busy women. There are many companies that specialize in delivering Zone prepared meals directly to your door in large urban centers and you can find this information in your local phone book or you can check on the internet.

A sales presentation doesn’t begin when you are telling and showing the prospect how you’ll solve their problems. It begins before you walk in the door to give the presentation. It begins with doing your homework on the company or person you’re presenting to and continues through the follow up after the sale.

Make sure you’ve done your homework on the company, the people you’re meeting with and as much as you can find out about their problems in advance. Customizing and practicing as much of the specific presentation you’ll give to them before you walk in the door is one of many sales presentation skills you must master.

Connect with your audience, make friends with them before you begin your presentation. If they don’t warm up to you or they aren’t friendly…leave. You’re not going to make the sale anyway so why waste your time?

If you have a fear of speaking or are nervous in a sales presentation, the prospects will spot that and loose confidence in you. Get over your fear of speaking. It’s not ok to be nervous. You need to come across as being extremely confident. An important sales presentation skill of top sales people is public speaking. Take a public speaking course, join Toastmasters, do what ever is necessary to feel comfortable and confident speaking to one or a hundred people.

A sales presentation should be perfect evey time. So how do you make it perfect? Practice, Practice, Practice. When I started in real estate I carried a cassette recorder with me and when I gave a listing presentation I would ask the couple or person if they would mind if I recorded it. I told them it was for my benefit and would help me become better at what I do.

Then I listened to the recording and learned how I sounded, what I said, how I said it, how persuasive I was and in the end how successful I was. It helped me understand what I did right, what I did wrong and what I would do different the next time.

Develop the right attitude. Become so confident in your product or service and the benefits it provides that your shocked when someone doesn’t want to buy it. You need to have the attitude that someone would have to crazy not to buy your product.

Also, go in with the attitude that you don’t need the sale. If it’s the end of the month, it’s a big sale or you need the money, it’s likely your prospect will sense you urgency.

You spent the time finding the lead and making the appointment, don’t waste the sales opportunity by not mastering the sales presentation skills to give a great sales presentation.

One of the easiest things to do to keep the spark alive in a relationship is to wear sexy lingerie to bed. It is easy to fall into a rut of just wearing some frumpy flannel pajamas to bed. It makes the man feel appreciated and wanted when his woman cares enough to take the time and effort to wear something sexy and it makes a woman feel sexy when her man buys her sexy lingerie to wear because she knows he thinks she will look great in it.

It can be fun for both the man and the woman to buy lingerie on a regular basis. Sometimes you can buy alone and sometime you can shop together, you may find out some things that he likes that you didn’t know before. Anything goes behind closed doors; this is your opportunity to be someone else. Take advantage of it and go wild!

The lingerie industry has come a long way now and you can actually get some of the most flimsy looking thin fabrics that still have support for women with larger bosoms.
Don’t be afraid of wearing thongs and g-strings even if you wouldn’t normally.

If you are concerned about a babydoll nightie being too short you can opt for a chemise instead which is a little longer and covers more.

Bras are a very private and personal item and it is difficult for a man to choose for his lady but technology has come a long way in bras as well and they now offer everything from underwire to demi-bras, to push up bras designed to enhance and exaggerate your cleavage.

Thongs have become increasingly popular and the sales back it up. Thongs have become much more comfortable to wear than their early predecessors and many women now wear them as everyday underwear now instead of only with lingerie as they did when they first came on the scene.

Other lingerie items that have experienced a big change are corsets and bustiers. In the early days of their inception their purpose was primarily functional where now they are used more to entice and seduce the man in the bedroom.

Stockings these days have become more and more sexy. What man isn’t turned on by fishnet or lace stockings? Depending on the color of the lingerie you are wearing, accenting with white, black or a matching color of lace stockings can really be sexy.

Use these sales presentation tips to get your prospect emotionally involved in your product or service and you’ll boost your sales.

Sales Presentation Tip #1 – Practice and Customize Your Presentation

Take time to practice your presentation many times before using it in a real live sales situation. You should know your presentation backwards and forwards, word for word. Never take notes to a sales presentation and referr to or read from them. That is so unprofessional.

Customize your presentation for each individual prospect. One of the worst things you can do is give a presentation that appears to the prospect has been given to every other person you sell to.

Sales Presentation Tip #2 – Build Rapport and Qualify

Make sure you build rapport, and qualified the prospect thoroughly before you dive in to your presentation. People buy from people they like and trust, so spend adequate time on rapport building.

The same goes for qualifying. Make sure you’re clear as to what the prospects problem is before presenting your product or service as the solution. The problems you uncover will determine how you customize your presentation and how your product or service solves their problems.

Sales Presentation Tip #3 – Be Friendly, Enthusiastic and Professional Looking

Remember, people are more likely to buy from a friend than a salesperson. So spend lots of time becoming their friend. Don’t rush into your presentation. Step back and develop a relationship with them. It will pay huge benefits.

One way to show your enthusiasm is to truly believe your product or service is the best thing to solve their problem. So having an understanding of how your product has helped others is critical.

Being professional looking includes many different areas. Your clothes for one. Make sure your wardrobe is up to date and doesn’t include suits you bought in the nineties. Polish your shoes, cut your nails, shave, get an up to date hair style. There are many ways you can look the part of a successful person. People want to buy from winners, so look like a winner.

Also make sure your presentation visuals are up to date and professional looking. Don’t use articles or testimonials that were written years ago. Get some new ones. Use the lastest technology to show prospects you’re on the cutting edge. I guarantee you most of your competitors aren’t.

Sales Presentation Tip #4 – Use Visual Aids

Your company may all ready have visual aids for you to use. Some things to include are media articles about you and your company. Testimonials you’ve received from satisfied clients. Tell stories about how you’ve helped another customer, especially ones that are similar to the current prospect.

Sales Presentation Tip #5 – Get the Prospect Involved

Using handouts is a great way to get a prospect following along with your presentation. You could play a game during the presentation or have them take a test. Ask them opened ended questions such as:

Do you see how easy this is to use?

What are the features you like the best?

How do you think this will benefit you/your company?

Get creative and come up with ways to get the prospect involved. It sets you apart from the competition.

Sales Presentation Tip #6 – Emphasize Customer Service and Long Term Relationships.

The prospect needs to be sure you won’t sell them and then disappear, never to be heard from again. Talk to them about your involvement in the delivery, training and service after the sale. Also let them know you’re their for the long term. That you’ll be there to help with problems and service. After all, you are the one building the relationship. So assure them you will oversee everything.

A winning sales presentation should answer all your prospects questions, get them excited and lead them to the conclusion that your product or service is the only solution to their problems.

Unfortunately in this day and age it seems that almost daily we hear about vehicles being broken into and vandalized or even being stolen. Even though certain vehicles are more susceptible to being targeted by these criminals we all need to be aware of the threat.

We assume the risk of our vehicle being vandalized or stolen every time we park it. According to statistics over one million vehicles are stolen annually which is one vehicle every 25 seconds. This has evolved into a multi billion dollar industry controlled by organized crime rings that work together and steal cars to fulfill orders for specific cars or parts. A stolen car can be stripped down and parted out to bring in more money than the actual value of the car itself!

Do you think that these thieves are targeting high end exotic sports cars like those depicted in the film, “Gone in 60 Seconds”? Think again. Out of the top ten most stolen cars different models of the Toyota Camry and the Honda Accord accounted for the first eight and Chevy and Ford trucks took the last two.

What happens is this, the auto theft ring gets an order for parts for a particular vehicle or vehicles which they dispatch out to their network of car thieves who in many cases know exactly where to go to find a car like the one being ordered. Sometimes you will see theft rings operate in particular areas for a length of time until it becomes to hot or risky for them and then they move their operation elsewhere.

Using the bars that go on your steering wheel like those advertised on TV is pretty much a waste of time and money. It takes a good thief less than 30 seconds to cut the bar off and hotwire the car.

The alarms that make noise when a thief gets close are just ignored. Additionally, I once heard of a theft ring in Houston that would take a cat and throw it on the car so the owner would come out and see the footprints and think it was just a cat. After a time or two of being awakened they just leave the alarm disabled. Thieves are well versed in cutting the wires and bypassing these systems as well.

Generally speaking almost all of the factory systems installed on vehicles can be overcome or bypassed so you should look into a proven aftermarket system.
